Efla Engineering´s food calculator shows the carbon footprint of meals in an illustrative and enlightening way. OR´s food court is the first within Icelandic companies to use the calculator. As a result, OR employees can make an informative decision on what meals they choose, when it comes to the carbon footprint of various foods and ingredients.

Reducing the carbon footprint of food

OR´s goal is to reduce food waste by 90% until the year 2030. Informing employees about the carbon footprint of meals at the food court is a key factor in achieving the goal.
